Cry with me darling, it's good sometimes ;____;
Honestly I've never fought for much in my life, but I really want to fight for this at least. Sometimes I get so overwhelmed when I check the petition and the fans trying to save the show that all I want is to curl up in a ball of feels and wait for somebody to tell me that the BBC changed their mind and there will indeed be a third series of The Hour and everything's going to be okay. I bought the first season DVD yesterday and rewatched the episodes with friends the same day and I was completely drawn in again. I really don't understand what this show has done to me. I blame ALL the fucking actors in it. Fucking life ruiners. I hate them (no I don't).

It's true what you say about the irony of that cancellation, but it also has another ironical effect: it has turned all the fans into Freddie Lyon. The same happened with Firefly where a broken, battered little spaceship with a misfit crew was up against a big bad dictatorial Federation and the fans called themselves Browncoats and identified with those misfits in real life against a big bad corporation... And now with journalists fighting for integrity against censorship and dumbing down... I guess we're Randall Browncoats, haaahahaha
