Oh, this was delicious, really. Very erotic but (as an asexual + grad student, perhaps more important!) wonderfully deep with the classics elements. I love the thought of a tutor trying to teach his noble pupil some questionable material that's actually relevant and needs to be part of his education but also isn't the kind of thing that would be viewed as "safe."

One thing I wondered about was the timeline. Athos seemed to be going through those texts in translation quite quickly for someone reading Ovid because he needed to work on his Latin. I know for myself, I'm doing very good work if I can translate 10-20 pages in a single day. Does Athos have a real proclivity for the languages? (Of course, it's possibly he was reading the tail end of Ovid before moving on to Plato, I suppose.) This isn't intended as a criticism, so much as general curiosity.

In any case, a lovely story all around.
