Colin Firth's performance completely blew me away. One could argue (Oscar-wise) that True Grit and The Social Network are more sweeping and cinematic (haven't seen Inception yet) (yes, I know). But I don't think I have seen better work by an actor in ... just wow. The tiny things he was doing with his posture, face, eyes. The way he handled the speech defect. The way he moved. Incredible. And beautiful. Am going to go again, just to drink it all in one more time.
