Guys, thank you very much for the opinions that you gave on a previous poll for Mytho's first volume's cover. In the end we had to go for something a bit different, but we still incorporated some kind of symmetry, which seemed to work well in the first version that most of you voted for!
So, without further ado, here is the final version of our cover, approved by our editor:

I'm honestly completely in love with it *_____*

But I won't even be in France by thennnnn. Though, to be fair, I could come back for the holidays. But.

Amazon is as always your friend and you now have a pretty good reason to come back and visit your family and friends who will miss you like crazy. Or you could just take the shuttle from London in the morning spend the whole day in the bookshop and go back by the evening without seeing anyone... Your call I guess.

... I've just realized that you're not actually [livejournal.com profile] sevenswells, whom I thought I was replying to. Um. That's awkward of me. Hi!

But yeah, seriously, I'll be coming back to France every few weekends, so I'll be able to catch it at some Fnac somewhere at some point; it's just, well. Getting a book made by someone I know via Amazon isn't quite the same as actually finding it in a store, y'know?

Doesn't matter my dear, I'm pretty sure we have already met at [livejournal.com profile] sevenswells' and that you are one of my favourite person in the world for writing one of my favourite fics ever about BNF John and Sherlock. Anyhow, my fault for highjacking someone's LJ by responding.

Yeah I know finding it in the store is always so incredible and you can't stop squeeing and you try to push it a little forward in the store so that more people can look at it and finally you end up doing the promotional pitch to a total stranger so that they buy it.

(Love your icon btw)

Oh hey, I actually spent a full metro trip with you and didn't even recognize your username, go me. How are you! Is teaching treating you any better than the last time I saw you?

I knoooow. There's something quite thrilling to holding the book in your hands and watching people glance at what you're reading or pick it up too and you're quietly simmering with glee on behalf of the author.

... I have too many friends/acquaintances in the BD industry, clearly.

(Ty! Pepperpepper, ain't she lovely ♥)

Doesn't matter my dear I only recognise you because I'm in love with The theory of narrative casuality and have a stalkerish side to me.

Teaching is better since it's nearly the holidays but things are still grim looking for french education.

You can never have too many friends who do comics.

(My wife is in love with Pepper and I share the feeling so yay Pepper.)

[identity profile] falling-voices.livejournal.com 2012-06-15 09:47 pm (UTC)(link)
WELL OF COURSE.
