Let me tell you how much I fucking love comics

I wanted to work on a children's book project because I thought it would be a quicker way to get money with my writing than working on another comics project because those take an enormous amount of time even to put together you have no idea

I thought, it's still writing, it still involves visual art, and it will allow me to work with another person so it's more or less the same, except quicker

And when I used to think about that project in a children's book form I thought, yeah, that could work, in my head the project is quite okay, it's good, I just have to get down to it and write it

But then recently I started thinking that there are comics for small children too, so I got to visualising what the same project would look like in comic book form and suddenly I was like

HELL YEAH THAT'S AWESOME OH MY GOD I HAVE SO MANY IDEAS AND VISUAL STUFF IN MY HEAD MAN IT CAN TURN OUT TOTALLY RAD AND AMAZING MAN I REALLY WANT TO WORK ON IT NOW

Children's books, sure, I can write them
Or even like, just books without pictures, I've published one before, they're okay

but man

I REALLY FUCKING LOVE COMICS AND THAT'S WHAT I WANT TO DO WITH MY LIFE
