John will be horrified on my behalf and it'll be a very long, noisy, entertaining night for all involved, and mostly me (& my popcorn). Come here, you. I have to say if there's one tiny thing I didn't love about the show, though, it actually was its portrayal of Mycroft&Sherlock's relationship. [SPOILERS below]

Dude, you wanna know the dirty story of how I got into the fandom in the first place? I'm telling anyway. So I was randomly reading the fandom_wank comm, and I saw a macro of Benedict as Sherlock, profile view, reading "I want him to dominate me." Seeing that profile and the macro, I was veeeery intrigued. And now I kind of see what anon meant. I WANT HIM TO DOMINATE ME TOO T_____T Again, why did this show had to be so good?
Petty!Sherlock... er... I'm in doubt over that.
I know, I also thought maybe that was stretching it a bit, but... I have to admit it's super fun, and I'd like to think that Mycroft is a special case. Like, Sherlock doesn't get petty with Anderson because he doesn't care and Anderson can't get to him, but I kind of like that Sherlock is not above being petty with his older brother. It's like the drug addiction in canon; you would think Sherlock Holmes would be ethereal and purely intellectual but then there's his addiction to cocaine and morphine, meaning he's more human than he'd want people to believe, and that makes him an even richer character. All this to justify the fact that petty!Sherlock amuses me to no end and I kind of guiltily like it XD

That line reminded me of something, and then I suddenly got it! HunterXHunter! I don't think Moffat and Gatiss have ever read it, but now I understand my love for the Holmes brothers and family -- they resemble the Zoldiks in HxH -- it's a family of assassins (it's not as lame as it sounds, actually, I promise XD) who are complete nutjobs and highly dysfunctional. Me and my love for crazy families... =____=
