Aw, I thought Sam was a nice guy. Yeah he's a dork (which I know is a plus to some people, but doesn't do it for me), but he thought Kurt sounded like Faith Hill and he wasn't going to pull out of the duet with him just because Finn warned him it would harm his reputation. He also wasn't a dick when Kurt was asking about his hair, so we got to see Kurt being cute and flirty. His looks were never my favorite, but now I can't unsee him as that slutty puppet.

Of course, part of my easiness with Kurt/Sam is because I never expected Puck/Kurt to become canon. I say the show can throw all the boyfriends and girlfriends at them in canon, I'll still be shipping Puck and Kurt with each other.

I'm very partial about Sam; of course partly because he messes with my OTP, but also because he's so MEH.

His voice is nothing special, he sings horribly boring songs (Jason Mraz, srsly? YAWN! What's the next step, Jack Johnson?) and his character is kind of all-around mediocre too -- he likes comics but he's also into sports, he's a generally nice guy, he's kind of dorky but still socially apt, his looks are average (well I don't dig them at all but I can comprehend that some people can find him cute), he dyes his hair but with lemon juice and not chemicals, he's interested in astronomy except he doesn't recognize Mars from Venus... baaaaaaah. He's so irritatingly bland that I'm starting to think he's actually a hoax and that the writers really are preparing Puck/Kurt from the shadows. There's just no angle about him, nothing I can really like or dislike and that makes me dislike him a lot, in fact. But maybe that's too early in the season to say anyway, maybe there's more to him than meets the eye, but right now he just doesn't spark my interest (he sure does spark Finn's, though XD)

However, if he turns out to be a slutty puppet I might start respecting him a little XD Kekeke; sorry about that drawing, but it was just too tempting, and I actually shouted out loud in front of the TV when I realized which muppet he made me think of -- scared the living shit out of my friends as we were watching along XD

I wonder if they made him so bland so that when/if he and Kurt get together it won't be two over the top personalities clashing? Whatever, his blandness just makes it easier for people to write Puck/Kurt where Puck comes in with his badassery and breaks up the happy couple.
