Nothing wrong with a little angst! I think it fits just fine in the scheme of things. I like learning about Puck through his self-reflection and considering his circumstances, I don't think a person can escape rehashing old memories when their past has come back to bite them in the ass by hiring them to cook for a wedding (umm, missed an 'o' there in cook, whoops!). I love that Puck is finding all these parallels in their lives now that they're older and I'm enjoying the execution of it all. I've always loved how this fic was paced.
