You're all welcome to give your opinion on this, guys: Rachel and I are working on a cover for the first volume of [Poll #1829902]

It really doesn't matter if you don't know anything about cover art or comics or whatever, we really need all the opinions we can get, just tell us what works for you or not. If you can explain your choice in the comments (even if you have never commented on this journal before) it would be even better (but of course it's not at all compulsory).

La deuxième. La première fait plus couv de shonen, mais la symétrie de la deuxième fait plus sens parce qu'on voit les "alter égo" et je trouve que ça fait plus limpide.

#2 allllll the way. The first isn't very original, to be honest — covers like this are everywhere whenever you step inside a bookstore — while the second is cleaner, less cluttered. It gives the characters space to breathe, is rather original, and I like the symmetrical structure much better than the fan-like one.

La première a une compo incontestablement plus classique... La seconde se démarque bien plus, même si ça ne vaut pas forcément dire qu'elle fera vendre. J'aime aussi le fait que la seconde est plus de blanc, ça respire plus et ça crée une diagonale de force intéressante.

Hahahaha oué, si on avait la recette crois-moi qu'on l'appliquerait XD L'idée est au moins de se démarquer du reste des couv BD en attirant l'œil du chaland, après je pense que ce qui déterminera l'achat sera ce qui se trouve à l'intérieur et de ce côté-là je fais confiance aux pages de Rachel qui pulsent bien

I don't know if this makes anysense . I voted for #2 btw.

On first glance I would pick #1 cause the graphics are bolder and very attractive.

But as a buyer. If this comic came out in 2 cover versions I would buy #2 because it is a little less conventional and slightly more charming imo

It does make perfect sense! And your opinion as a buyer is exactly what we're looking for, we're actually aiming at "less conventional" as you say because I think it can make the difference in making the book pop out amongst other books.
