sevenswellsThese are all the Ryokame (or sometimes just Kame or Ryo) headers I did so far for kamexkame 's journal: since they're not up anymore, I thought it would be good to recap them in a post (ephemeral is great, but we are living in a material world, and I am a material girl). You cannot take them, though; I made them for kamexkame exclusively, they're all gifts, except for this one:

So this is the first one I ever did for her, it didn't require much effort. It looks a bit like an ad for hand cream or something. Love Kame's boytoyness <3

I struggled with this one at first (the photos were kamexkame's choice), and then the ideas of the green beams just popped in my mind. It's one of my favourites yet. Ryo looks like a disco-dangerous version of Joseph Gorden Levitt in Mysterious Skin (which is an awesome movie, you should see it). The catch-phrase is excerpted from Franz Ferdinand's flamboyantly gay song "Michael".

Holidays special. Another one that didn't require much manipulation. Ryo's expression is priceless, it really makes sense with the catch phrase XD

Christmas special. Fluffiest header to date: they look so happy together! ^^

I love this picture of Ryo; it's like the essence of childhood and happiness (as opposed to the cynical snarky hot bastard he is now XD). The hardest thing to manipulate was Yamapi, I had to erase him from the picture (sorry Pi, but you just stood there posing, it messed with my childhood-and-happiness feeling). The police is actually Anthony Kiedis' handwriting that fans scanned from BSSM's booklet and had computerized.

This one's my other favourite one; I got stuck on both "sides" of Kame, sex!oiled!gladiator!seme!Kame and wet!uke!Kame, they're both incredibly sexy like whoaaaar. *รง*
I have a lot of fun when I'm manipulating the image of Ryo and Kame, since they're both extremely versatile (in general, I'm having a harder time with Gackt and Miyavi, for example). For that reason, all the headers I made of them have a great variety of graphic identities, which is what I'm basically looking for (graphic identities, that is). There are even more new headers to come on kamexkame's journal soon, because I'm not stopping. ^^ So maybe I'll do another recap post someday.
