Treat yo self

Turned 29 yesterday, and I thought I could treat myself until my birthday party this Sunday.



Pastrami bagel (Philadelphia cream cheese, pickled peppers, red onions, salad, pastrami and BBQ sauce; very nice)



Matcha bubble tea (and bright red nail polish that I love)




Four Hermé macarons with four different flavours: vanilla and olvie oil, rose and quince, chocolate and passion fruit, and white truffle and hazelnut. THEY WERE AMAZING. Such a treat for my birthday, and full of innovation and discoveries, too. Look at the seasonal colours! I'm fangirling Pierre Hermé so hard, you have no idea.

I also bought as presents for myself a Union Jack umbrella, a pill box made of tin with the drawing of a moth on it, and a book about society and politics in Britain in the 70s:

Those macarons, my friend, is what make living in Paris worth the hassle :D Honestly though Pierre Hermé is amazing; thanks to one of my future comics projects I might have the chance to meet and interview him and honestly I have NO IDEA how I'm going to contain my spazzing out in front of him!
