Guys, if anyone is still out there on LJ, I need recs!

Specifically genderqueer!Sherlock recs, or male to female/trans* woman Sherlock -- I think there are quite a few of these, but I need the good ones.

Do you know any, f-list? Pretty please?

J'ai peut-être des choses sans mes bookmark Ao3 - même si a la réflexion c'est plus probablement du genderbend ou du always a girl...
Je jetterai un oeil ce soir.

I've seen more FtM Sherlock than the other way around. Do you want me to post on Dreamwidth for you? Or maybe there's a Sherlock story finder community on here. There must be, somewhere.

Aha! Here we go:
http://sherlock-search.livejournal.com/profile
is an active community. The others I found were inactive or not helpful.

Er, I hope this isn't awkward given you have no idea who I am and I'm not even in the Sherlock fandom anymore, but I saw this post and I have some links.

Hey, thanks a lot! And it's not awkward at all, on the contrary, you're helping me, so you're awesome and I love you! :D To be honest I'm not exactly in the Sherlock fandom anymore either, I'm just working on a personal project with a genderqueer character and the Sherlock fandom, as I recalled, had some of the best fics on the subject; I thought it might help in giving me a better understanding and at least a first approach since for now I have no personal approach to the subject, being cis and barely knowing any genderqueer/trans person.
Since I see you wrote one of those fics, could you maybe tell me where I could find research material even outside the Sherlock fandom? I would be forever grateful and you would be even more awesome.

Yes, I can help with resources. I'll have to hunt down a few links and whatnot but you'll hopefully find some of it useful. I'll get things together into some kind of coherent fashion and get it to you. Is it cool if I PM you if it runs a bit long for a comment?

Definitely, PM me if it gets too long, no problem, and thank you very much, you're a star!! Tell me if you want a drawing of anything in return for your kindness, maybe I can arrange something :D

Does it have to be male-to-female? There's a really well done female-to-male-trans fic, Sherlock is Actually a Girl's Name. If that would be useful it's probably worth looking up. (It's on AO3.)

It's actually... kind of genderqueer in its way. There's a lot of ambiguity of Sherlock's gender and just what it means to him in the last few sections.

Thanks for the rec, I'll check it out anyway. Actually I was asking because I'm working on a personal project where one of the characters is male-to-female trans and since I'm extremely new to the subject and have next to no idea how to tacle it properly, I thought the fics in the Sherlock fandom (which are most of the time really amazing) could be a decent enough first approach.
