[DOUJIN] Mirror (GacktxMiyavi) pages 1-5 (intro)

Hey there people,

Finally, here's a new GacktxMiyavi doujin!

It's the comics adaptation of the incredible GacktxMiyavi fic Mirror by dearest supacat . Those are only the first five pages; it's also just an introduction; the rest is coming up as soon as I can manage. I'll update as regularly as possible, posting five pages or so at a time (don't worry, I'll warn you each time). Of course, in between my updates, you can re-read and re-re-read supacat's fic because it's simply made of awesome. By the way, for the moment the comic's not very faithful to its original inspiration, but it's gonna come to it, eventually (I hope).

I'll stick to supacat's rating, which is R if I recall. No further warnings, let's rock:

If you want to comment on it, you can do it in here, just to let me know what you think. ^^ I'm aware that my drawing abilities have a lot of flaws but I do hope it will improve gradually.

Just a little anecdote before I definitely leave you with it: I couldn't decide myself to dive in and fucking draw it, that thing's been wallowing in the "ever-upcoming projects" part of my brain for ages. But then, a few weeks ago, I had a dream with Gackt in it. I swear to God, I'm not even kidding, that was a first for me, I swear. I won't tell you all that happened in it because it will get boring, but to sum it up we had a chat together, and in the end I asked him for his phone number, to continue our conversation. He said okay, took out a pen, looking like he had no problem at all giving his number away, but unexpectedly, instead of writing it down on a piece of paper, he started to scribble stuff on a shop window nearby, drawings and maps and literary quotes. (and now that I think about it, I believe that kind of thing resembles the "real" Gackt a lot)

After that he had to leave, so I started my investigation by buying the first volumes of a comics series he had written (and that was drawn by somebody else), because I knew I could find the beginnings of an answer in there.

And then I woke up, extremely puzzled, and remembering that dream vividly. Then I said out loud, without really thinking, "okay, okay, you win, I'll do it".

So, I guess the answer to Gackt fucking with my mind is this doujin. Thank you, mental image of Gackt, for mentally kicking my butt in order to force me to do stuff related to you. Egomaniac bitch.

Good start! You've got a great shading style, and I'm liking the character designs. (the two I've seen clearly at any rate) Its recognizable who they are, but they've still got a nicely stylized look. *thumbs up*

One hell of a dream, I don't know if I'm lucky, because that might mean that Gackt has free access to my mind in my sleep and I wouldn't be surprised if he decided to fuck with it. Maybe it has already started. OH SHIT.

I like the vector-art-like credit drawing, and the black and white story bit is great, too! You are really good at laying out the panels. :D Also, you do a great job showing movement. And I adore how you draw Gackt~ <3 <3 <3 <3
