GLEE'S BIG GAY SUMMER

Woo-hoo!! Finally watched it, and... incredible start of season! WHAT WAS WITH ALL THE GHEINESS?? We almost choked from it! (in a good way, of course) We squealed so loud throughout the episode we made the neighbours crazy!

-OMG Coach Tanaka has had surgery during summer too! No seriously, it was very disturbing. Roomie called her "She-Tanaka" and I can't get that image out of my head; she literally was Tanaka in drag. O.o

-Nope. Sam definitely doesn't do it for me. His face is all weird and his voice is meh (well less meh than Cory Monteith's but still). I really liked all the gheiness around him though, starting with Finn perving on him in the showers and then Puck with the epic "balls" line and the ~*looks*~ he kept throwing him... so Sam is supposed to go out with Kurt, is that it? Okay. Well if they change his face and his voice and his haircut, I'm all for him to become glee club's big gay bicycle; at least the boys seemed totally up for it. I'm not sure if I'll find the Kurt/Sam believable (well we'll see, won't we?), but they're doing their very best to make Sam/everyone else believable, so far XD

-Speaking of which, Tina/Mike? Tee hee hee. God Mike if gheiness was radioactive you'd glow in the dark.

-Oh and Rachel and Sunshine! Boy was that intense! We saw the femmeslash in the first few seconds, with the looks they were exchanging during New York! Holy shit! Too many pairings suddenly shoved into our faces with this episode, we couldn't even process all the slash -- it was great though, we weren't exactly complaining. =D I really liked Telephone (unlike the infamous Poker Face =___= ), I thought it was one of the best songs in the episode, despite Sue's interruption, or maybe because of it. BTW, Telephone, lesbian song choice much? Yeah you know it.

-Epic start of episode! It was so good we had to re-watch it right away! Loved the meta references -- well played, writers, I thought it was actually very clever.

-What else? I still love you Puck, and you're still my favourite character on this show.

-AH. YEAH. QUINN. BLEARGH. Didn't think I could be even less impressed with that character (first season of Glee had a great many of embarrassing moments, but I think This is a man's world with pregnant dance definitely took the cake, and I still resent her for that horrible moment where I wanted to scratch my soiled eyes out), well I stood corrected. I liked the catfight with Santana, though, but it's because Santana is a kickass character, with or without a boob job (Santana lacking confidence? Srsly? Your pretext to make Quinn head cheerio again is invalid, writers. Admit it, you just couldn't find a good reason, could you?). Rip her face out, chica!

And go Sam, you can have all the balls you want except Puck and Kurt's because, hey you can't stop true love baby, and because really, who needs canon when such an attractive and powerful couple is just out there sooking so delicious ?

I am so with you on not loving Sam's face and his voice definitely isn't amazing or whatever. I mean it's good but like you said "meh". I do not want Sam and Kurt but I think a Finn/Sam will work haha though Puck was throwing him many glances but I think that's just because Puck is pervertedly fascinated with how many balls can indeed fit into that huge mouth. But for shizz, his mouth is just way too big to me, it's off putting lol; Puck and Kurt still hold strong in my world.

So true about Sunshine and Rachel sharing that glance in the beginning and then the Telephone number.... oh and the cat fight, gosh Santana was amazing, ready to rip Quinn out. I don't know if it was a lack of confidence that made her get the boob job though that's what Sue says, I really just think Santana enjoys having that power over boys having them all ogle her haha. Oh and Brittany saying she wanted to touch She-Tanaka's boobs had me smiling so big haha epic!

Definitely this episode just gave us all fodder! Serious. I too rewatched the eppie in fact I am going to watch it again today most likely haha.

Re-watched the episode yesterday with my roomie and GOOD GOD THAT MOUTH IS FUCKING GIGANTIC, you're right, it's reaaaaally off-putting.

I don't think I've ever commented on this journal before so this might look stalkerish, but it's not, I swear, I absolutely loved several of your fics.
(Eventually I'll comment.)

I don't want to seem rude by telling you that I disagree on... actually most of your opinions in that post. (If this comment inconveniences you, feel free to- block me or delete it or whatever, I just wanted to have a shot at maybe arguing against some of your points here - if that's out of place, do tell me, I'll back off. Ugh. I've never done this before, does it show?)
Okay, this was sufficiently awkward.
Err. I like Quinn. I thought her This is a man's world was one of the most beautiful things I've ever listened to. The choreo was weird, I'll admit, but she has a GREAT jazz voice, in my opinion.
And she has a very deep and complex character, unlike others, so at least for that reason, I think it's good to... keep her in one's sight, if you see what I mean? She's interesting, she has flaws and qualities, she's full of contradictions... And her acting is really awesome, right?
So... please, don't flame her like that, it's... off-putting. (Especially when I enjoy your fics soooo much. You have my eternal respect for those.)
