Why everyone should see Gregg Araki's last movie

Went to see Kaboom, twice. I've forgiven Araki for his previous bullshit movie, now I love him again. It was as decadent as the peanut butter cupcake that I ate after seeing it for the first time. And here's why you guys should absolutely go see it too:

So. Yeah. Best movie of the month. Go see it.

J'en ai beaucoup entendu parler, je vais voir s'il va sortir dans ma petite ville perdue ... lalala.

Mouahaha, j'espère bien! Au pire y'aura bien une sortie DVD, vu le succès que le film se paye à Paris (la première fois j'étais à l'UGC Ciné Cité les Halles, dans une des plus grandes salles, un jeudi après-midi à 15h et la salle était... pleine. Je me serais jamais douté qu'Araki avait déjà acquis une telle répute en France).

Et là ayons une pensée émue pour nos amies slasheuses américaines qui, -- bien que le réal, les acteurs, la production et la localisation du film soient américains -- n'ont pas eu la chance de voir ce film sortir sur leurs écrans. Une copine américaine me l'a confirmé, Kaboom n'est sorti qu'en France. Ce qui m'a encore plus choquée, c'est qu'elle m'a révélé que "I love you Philip Morris" n'est pas sorti non plus aux US, malgré le fait que les rôles principaux soient tenus par Ewan McGregor et Jim Carrey. Selon ma copine: "les pédés n'existent pas sur les écrans américains".

Et ça c'est sacrément triste.
