sevenswellsSo as I promised on this pimp post, here's my A Thorough Examination fanart. I really love this particular scene and almost choked from the intensity when I was reading it. I thought it would be interesting to draw it it because the drawing wouldn't represent what's truly happening in the scene and I revel in ambiguity and contradiction XD
The title comes from "What Do They Know?" a song by Mindless Self Indulgence that I thought would be fitting; here's the song on Deezer, and here are the lyrics (it seems I can't find the proper lyrics anywhere on the internet, there are like six or seven different versions, so I picked the one that's the most likely). Since my Sherlock fanvid with "Bring The Pain", I just love mixing Sherlock and MSI, I think they often complement each other well :D

John's expression is great, and nice to see someone's noticed that for someone so thin, our boy Sherlock has got an ass on him! And I love the details like the backs of his knees, and the anatomical chart in the background.
When we get home, I'm going to have to re-read the whole thing and look at this again. Poor me. XD
