New Sherlock fanart! This one's based on a fic (again), The Anatomist, by rosa_acicularis , a beautiful, wonderful fic centred on Molly Hooper -- words aren't strong enough to convey how much I love it, so I decided to put it into a drawing ^^

The technique is gouache, direct paint; the other inspirations have been my favourite painting of Gustav Klimt, Judith and this version of the song Worms by Lolly Jane Blue.
The picture below is actually a detail, because the illustration I did is actually a little bit bigger than that, but I'm too lazy right now to scan it twice =0=

Kind of worksafe I guess, major character death (or not) and generally a little disturbing I suppose. Wow, vaguest warnings ever XD

I am speechless. Her face. Her eyes. I just...I cannot imagine anything more perfect. This is something Jim would commission, have carefully gift-wrapped, and then put under her tree at goddamned Christmas. If he had a mantle, he would hang it above his mantle.

Yaaaaay!! \o/ I'm really super glad you like it, I had this very vivid and strong picture burned in the back of my mind after reading your fic, so I just had to put it on paper with paint! ^^ It's been a long time since I've last touched gouache, so you actually did me a great favor by providing me this marvellous inspiration!

*brain broken by thinking of Jim commissioning me* I think if that happened, I would be flattered, and then genuinely terrified XD

Always read the warnings....JESUS FUCK YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME.
I can't even pin point why....I clicked and scrolled a bit down then went JESUS FUCK....gasped and put a hand to my chest. It's not like I haven't seen blood. I actually like horror....but this hit something in me....you see it all together and it's like WHOH. I feel the same when I see the german grotesque (for lack of a better term coming to mind) christ paintings. *claps* This is gloriously unsettling.

On holidays! That's fantastic! Hahahaha I understand what you say about panicking about art for bigbangs, I'm pretty much panicking over my fics too; having two fandoms that you love passionately is so hard! And those fucking plot bunnies, they're true bastards, let me tell you.

YAAAAY MISFIIIIITS!!! \o/ I'm a little resentful because season 2 disappointed me a great deal, but I still love season 1 like burning, it's perfection.

I'm well; swamped with fucking paperwork (I'm back from holidays, and I have KILOTONS of shit to sort out) but soon I'll have very happy anouncements to make about my comics projects, so I'm actually pretty gleeful these days ^^

C'est absolument magnifique. J'aime énormément ton trait et cette profondeur donnée par les couleurs -ça donne des frissons, ça dérange mais ça attire ... et puis, il y a cette espèce de regard vague lancé au lointain, mais à la fois tellement précis et glacial, qui est saisissant.
