[FANART] Red Left Hand

Got the idea from sunken_standard  's fic, The Red Right Hand, which itself took inspiration from Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds' song. I know it's his *left* hand (hence the title of the fanart), it just fitted the composition better.
I'm not completely happy with it, but I do like this image I made as a preview:



Warnings and such: eeeeeeer none, I suppose. It's supposed to be a dark!Sherlock but I guess you can't really tell anyway...?

Thanks dear! As I said, your fic was really inspiring; I only do fanart when the fic I've read provides me this kind of strong imagery. Plus I actually didn't know the Nick Cave song, and that too was inspiring, I had it on repeat as I was drawing -- so thank you for educating my musical tastes too! ^^

Thank you, I'm a little bit too happy to read such compliments. Although I can't seem to be able to draw anything else than "dark and creepy" when I draw Sherlock fanarts these days; I swear my next piece shall be SUPER FLUFF with unicorns and jelly beans and dolphins WITH WINGS.
