Arrrrh, damn you, food-obsessed muse!

Why do I always have ideas for fics when I MOST DEFINITELY DON'T HAVE THE TIME to write anything other than what's due for my RL job?

Now I want to write Sherlock/John food porn! With sushi! (I might have to re-read the sushi chapter in Ruth Reichl's Garlic and Sapphires. Oh, woe! I *know* it'll leave me hungry for days!)(read this book, by the way, absolutely. It's one of the best books about food I've ever read, and trust me when I say I've read a fuckton in that specific genre)
And I haven't even finished my Puck/Kurt food porn WiP! WHYYYY???

And I still have to complete the genderbent femslash that's been lying around in bits on my hard drive for months! Plus there's the Epic of Gilgamesh/Sherlock/Dirk Gently/Misfits/Black Books über crossover that I still have to develop, nevermind writing it!

My life is so hard.

By the way, who wants another Sherlock rec post? I've read really good fics lately, and some might be relevant to your interests. Since my rec posts take a whole lot of time to prepare, let me know.

I may have seen it, I don't quite remember, I'll have to check.
But don't worry about me, getting started on Sherlock fics was half a year ago, maybe more ! I love this fandom and I do have an healty rec list on my own, but finding out new fics is always good. :D

Ugh, no, when I say food porn, it's really porn about food; I don't really like stories where food is eaten off someone, especially during sex -- it actually kind of puts me off, strangely enough. I'm always thinking very un-sexy thoughts when I read (or watch) stuff like that, like, "ew, but it'll get sticky" or "OMG this will make such a mess, good luck to whoever's cleaning afterwards", so yeah, it kind of breaks the mood for me.

Plus sushi eaten off someone is a very bad idea, what with body temperature warming up the fish meat, which should absolutely remain chill and fresh(!) I know they started the practice in Japan first, but it's still a very bad idea. You've got to be a drunken salaryman to eat sushi that way, seriously (with your taste buds completely ruined by chain-smoking too)
