[FANART] Holmes' Moving Castle

Something I've been wanting to do for the longest time, ever since I saw this '09 Sherlock Holmes movie/My Neighbour Totoro crossover. So I was obsessed with this idea of a Sherlock/Howl's Moving Castle crossover, and then I read parachute_silks  's fic, Sherlock's Moving Castle, which is SO SO AMAZING AND PERFECT. I think "enchanting" is the right adjective here. And so I decided to do a fanart. Basically nothing's mine, it's a copy of Hayao Miyazaki's stuff with a few tweaks here and there, I only did it for the lulz (and the appropriateness of such a crossover, of course). The background comes from this image which I also used as a reference.

The pic is kind of big so if you want to make a wallpaper out of it, go ahead.

oh.. i went back to watch the anime all over again, and i can't believe how *right* these two are for the roles you put them in.. Sherlock's fits and exuberance.. John's longsuffering-ness and courage.. how lonely they both were before they had each other. ♥
