One of my friends, Selkys, has started a journey to the past by drawing her old characters, and it's inspired me to do the same.
Under the cut is all the stuff from my brain's attic, old projects, old fantasies, stuff that has been recycled into something else or that has been dropped forever. It's been a very long time since I've drawn those characters, it felt quite emotional.

Elizabeth was one of my first action heroines. She was an anorectic young woman who had nevertheless some sort of super strength and she wielded a giant sword, à la Berserk. What can I say? I like giant swords.
Yellow is not exactly a character, she was just the main focus of a series of illustrations I randomly did at some point, about childhood and living in the nature.
Carla and Erika were part of the same story, and Carla was a broken and discarded... geisha robot. Well, actually a woman whose brain had been transferred into a broken and discarded geisha robot. Don't laugh. I thought it was cool, and I was quite proud of my design, because I had no idea how to draw a robot or an android and in the end I came up with this:

and which I thought looked good, for a first try at that kind of thing. (haha, and now I realised that I have inverted the place of the cross and the hair on my oekaki, shame on me)
Drawing this oekaki, I realised I still love Erika after all these years, she was a very cool and badass character.
Finally, Agostinho and Daffodil were part of the same story too, about genetically modified kids who grew up in a horrible orphanage called "Pigeonhol". Agostinho was the most normal-looking kid of all (despite a slight hydrocephalia and the fact that he looked like a small adult), but he had a very high IQ and was prone to head-splitting migraines and hallucinations which often featured a three-eyed baby, and all that was part of a whole plot that I have forgotten now. But I reckon there is a lot of Agostinho in Luka's character, which goes to show that some characters never really disappear, sometimes they just transform into something else, but with more or less the same core.
Daffodil was Agostinho's love interest, she was part girl part antilope (or something like that), and she could hide her horns with a top hat, like this:

It's depressing to look at my old drawings like that, not because they're bad, but because I think I drew better then. I have to get my modjo back. I don't draw enough, and I'm not making any progress. *sigh* ...Yosh! Go, me!
