Sweet thin_lipid tagged me ages ago and I promised I would try to answer this meme, then I got caught in another one on supacat 's journal because my curiosity is even greater than my fundamental inability to answer memes. So, here we go, two memes in a row:

A. List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself.

1. I love food. I consider myself a good cook; my favourite food is generally asian: chinese, indian and japanese of course. I love anything related to food, tv shows (Bistro Smaaaaaap!!!!), books (I mean, fiction books that talk about food, or with food descriptions), comics, movies, ANYTHING. I could talk about food for hours.
2. I'm interested in astrology but don't ever talk about it because I'm too scared to be considered stupid or superstitious
3. I've already cosplayed, twice: first as Mori in Ouran Host Club, and second as Dokuro-chan which has to be the nerdiest and most stupid anime ever but I love it. And the two times happened... last year.
4. I'm addicted to America's Next Top Model. I'm also totally in love with Jay Manuel who is the epitome of fabulousness
5. I'm a wuss despite the tough exterior I generally put on: I cover my eyes and ears during horror movies and I'm also scared of heights
6. The first band I've ever fangirled was Savage Garden, and I had a crush on Darren Hayes (HEY, I was twelve, gimme a break);  I learned recently that he got re-married... to a man (and I admit I was sooooo happy when I heard that just because I'm a hopeless yaoist)
7. I love non-stop freefall action movies with as little script as possible (a bit like porn, yeah O___O). My favourite movie ever is Versus the Ultimate Warrior, with Tak Sakaguchi. I also happen to be a hardcore nerdy fan of anything related to Riddick, who really is the coolest character in the universe (like some guys would drool on Xena, you know?).

what sort of astrology do you like~?

Well, plain old western astrology actually; but I don't believe in horoscopes, it's more about psycho-astrology (the kind of expression that would make an honest man wince). I even used to write articles about a few signs (inspired by an astrologist called Liz Greene who had interesting theories about them). It's kind of complex, actually, my relation to astrology, because I'm also very attached to the symbols and what it says about humanity in general -- in a very tangible way (I mean, there's a reason it exists, and it says something about how the collective unconscious works). I guess what really fascinates me in the end is the collective inconscious, and it's also one of the main themes developped in the work of Alan Moore, who is the author I love the most.

Anyway, may I ask, umm... what's your sign? °_____°

Oooooh you totally should read it, Alan Moore is... something else *___* I can't even begin to describe how much I love what he does, his work is essential to humanity; I have an habit of saying that if aliens came to earth and bragged about how they had the technology to transform the sun into a cornflake, I'd say "maybe, but WE have motherfucking ALAN MOORE, baby, so, jog on!" and they'd be totally pwned.

OMG!!!! RIDDICK IS ONE OF THE BEST CHARACTERS EVER!!!! I swear that character is LOVEd by everyone. Even by guys for various reasons. I've never been into the Vin Diesel type of guys but him as Riddick? I just had to make an exception. That character is SO COOL. (Actually, I liked him in Fast and the Furious as well)

I remember back in the day, I was totally craving for some Riddick/Johns slash, hahaha. Never found any, though..
