sevenswells: (And by HORRIBLE I mean AWESOME)

This is definitely not Sunday Porn. Maybe Sunday PG-13...? Don't worry, I won't make a habit of it.

I'm listening to a lot of The Bravery's songs these days, and I particularly love "Split Me Wide Open". So when I read [livejournal.com profile] etothepii  's Sherlock/Addams Family crossover fic today, Your Body Before Me, I felt some kind of resonance, and I just had to do a fanart (go read it, btw, it's truly fantastic stuff, I'm a huge fan of this author). Why I mainly do fanarts of weird/creepy stuff is a question I try not to ask myself too much.

The technique is gouache and watercolour pencils, the pairing is Sherlock/John. The rating is... mmmmh let's say R, because the fanart is still kind of weird; basically, it's Sherlock kissing John's severed head, but John isn't dead. Like I said, it's an Addams Family crossover, so John can't die just because his head isn't attached to his body. It's not very gory, though. I tried to draw something cute, actually.

Okay, whatever, here it is:

:O :O :O That's really kind of you to offer!

Unfortunately, I don't really have anywhere I'd be able to put it without having to answer awkward questions (lol), so I can't take it. Feel free to pass it on to someone else, if anyone else wants it, though! :D

Really? Even if it's not on canvas -- it's a small A4 paper, so you don't actually have to hang it anywhere.

But I won't insist, don't worry; it's just that I never throw away any of my drawings, from the ones I actually like to the half-finished doodles and even the drawings I'm not even proud of, and they just keep piling up without me doing anything with them (and it's not like I can stop... T3T). So I figured, at least for the fanfic fanarts that I've painted using traditional technique, since I don't use it very often, I could give them to the original fic authors ^^ It's okay though, if anything I can understand the implications of leading a double life ;) Hell, if some people very close to me were to stumble upon most of the shit I do, I would have to answer to awkward questions...

Is it still up for grabs? The piece, I mean. I would love to give it a home. <3 It's so beautiful and Addamsy.

Sure! I may ask you to pay for the shipping fee, but other than that, it's yours! ^^ In which country do you live?

I'm in New York City. If I have to pay shipping--esp international--it'll have to wait a while. :( But I do really want it. Is there a way I can reserve it or something?

No hurry at all, it can wait ^^

Just so I know how much to save up, are we talking about US shipping or international shipping, here?

I live in Paris, so I suppose it's international shipping fee; but the last time I sent a drawing to the US it didn't cost more than a few euros (like 3, if I remember well)

That's about 6-10 US because our economy is so shit, I think. I could be wrong. :\ Idk how to pay you though, when it comes to that. Any ideas?

Paypal would be best, if you have an account. ^^

I don't, sorry. I tried to get one--twice--but both times it backfired. Also they have sketchy policies, so I never wanted to try again.
