New Sherlock fanart! This one's based on a fic (again), The Anatomist, by rosa_acicularis , a beautiful, wonderful fic centred on Molly Hooper -- words aren't strong enough to convey how much I love it, so I decided to put it into a drawing ^^

The technique is gouache, direct paint; the other inspirations have been my favourite painting of Gustav Klimt, Judith and this version of the song Worms by Lolly Jane Blue.
The picture below is actually a detail, because the illustration I did is actually a little bit bigger than that, but I'm too lazy right now to scan it twice =0=

Kind of worksafe I guess, major character death (or not) and generally a little disturbing I suppose. Wow, vaguest warnings ever XD

Okay, remember that thing I had about "crazy-as-fuck!Sherlock" in my neverending Sherlock rec post? ...Well I've just finished reading an anon commentfic with not only that, but also "dark!crazy-as-fuck!John". And not even AU, mind you. All of it perfectly IC and fitting extremely well into canonverse. I don't usually go out of my way to rec just one fic out of the blue without a proper post and many other links, but this, THIS, it was so, so fucking good I can't help but gushing about it right now.

And it's medfet (=medical fetish) and I swear I don't even care for medfet like, at all! (if anything it irks me a little. I don't like doctors IRL -- trufax)

So anyway, if you're not too afraid of triggery stuff, trust me and go read it, the way this fic is conducted is just spectacular and it's superbly written (god this fandom. It just breaks my brain how much EPIC SHIT comes out of it):

The only thing that makes me sad is the fact that its author remained anonymous, because now I just don't know who to worship. Not promising anything, but I might do fanart. =D

I'M *STILL* WORKING ON MY FUCKING SCRIPTS. FUCK MY LIFE.

So before I can come back with fic (yes, TAoLaC chapter 3, and nothing else ^^), here are some recs of BBC Sherlock fics -- including specific categories like "matchmaker!Mycroft" and "dysfunctional, crazy-as-fuck!Sherlock" -- categories which I enjoy particularly.
They're all Sherlock/John slash fics (except the few ones about the Holmes brothers <3 not incestuous, mind you; there is also a category for "Other/Unclassifiable") -- because any other pairing wouldn't work for me. Yes, I love Rupert Graves as Lestrade, yes I love Moriarty -- heck, I love all of them, even Anderson (and sometimes *especially* Anderson XD). But Sherlock and John to me is an unbreakable OTP -- Sherlock or John with anyone else just feels very wrong to me. And they need to be together, as in, fucking each other's brains out. I've noticed that asexual!Sherlock fics kind of make me sad, no matter how well written and IC and logical they are -- intellectually, I understand where the current trend in the fandom is coming from, and I guess I also possess the intellectual tools to understand asexuality in general, but it just doesn't compute with my philosophy of life, which is basically a very sexual one. It clashes so much with my first instincts that it's like a whole alien civilization to me. So, no asexual!Sherlock fics, even though I've read perfectly good and interesting ones.

My roommate recently made me discover this kickass british TV show called Misfits. It's the story of young deliquents who are suddenly given super powers - which might be one the lamest pitch in the world, but this show is really unique, with a very peculiar tone I've just never seen anywhere else. The cast is super cool; in fact, I've never seen a show where I wanted to bang the majority of the main actors before.

So one night as I was going through my kanjis, I decided I could treat myself and read a little yaoi (have a break, have a yaoi, that's my motto). There was nothing new on Aarinfantasy I could nibble on, so I thought I'd give a shot to that original fiction berylia  recommended me ages ago.

What I read blew my mind. Or fucked it, to paraphrase the title of the first novella of the Administration Saga by Manna Francis, Mind Fuck.

I've spent the last few days in perfect bliss, taking my time to read each chapter with a growing pleasure. Fortunately, my blissful reading is not over, because I've already ordered the novellas Manna Francis didn't publish on her website (and the other ones I've already read because she owns my soul, of course), and my wunderbar mailman has just delivered the first batch of the order, freshly arrived from England, Quid pro quo. <333 ILU, mailman.

Maybe you've already read it or heard about it and maybe you're quite fed up about it now, but I just need to shout my everlasting love for this jewel here.
